The length of a rectangle is 6 longer than its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 52 find its area.

    52=2w+6

    -6

    46=2w

    /2

    W=23

    L=23+6=29

    23+23+29+29=104 is the perimeter

    23*29 = 667 area
