Ken has a black watch, a silver watch, a gold watch, and a brown watch. He also has a brown belt, a black belt, and a braided leather belt. How many different combinations can Ken make with his accessories?

    It would be nine, you take the number of outcomes for choice one (in this case 3, which watch to wear) times the number of outcomes for choice two (in this case 3, which belt to wear) times the number of outcomes for choice four (in this case 1, there is no decision to make and therefore only one outcome) and keep doing this for each decision/choice

    3*3=9 (you don't need to put the 1s in)
