A slice through the center of a circle pizza pie is 18 inches long. If the crust is 1in thick, how many square inches of red sauce would be needed to cover the entire pizza?

    A flat circle with height is a cylinder

    v=pi r^2 h

    v=about 3.14 (9^2) (1)

    v=about 254.34 in^3
