How do you sole an expressions that have exponents?

    When dealing with exponents, you can only simplify unless any letters have a given value.

    Example:

    3x + 2x^2 - 1x + 2

    3x and - 1x can be combined to 2x

    2x^2 + 2x + 2 would be the simplified expression.
