You could use commutative property by switching 2 with 23. Now you have 5x2x23. Multiply 2 by 5 to get 10 and multiply that by 23. 23 x 10 = 23 with a zero at the end. The answer would be 230. By the way, the answer of a multiplication problem is called the product. The sum is the answer to an addition problem.
