keep dividing by the prime numbers is ascending order 2, 3 5 ... (if they are factors), of course) until you end up with a prime number:-

    80 / 2 = 40

    40 / 2 = 20

    20 / 2 = 10

    10 / 2 = 5

    So 80 = 2*2*2*2*5
