What is not an example of the transitive property?

a = b, b = c so a = c

d = 5, 5 = s, so d = s

If 2x + 7 = 17 and 17 = 3y + 2, then 2x + 7 = 3y + 2

    The transitive property is about equality of quantities.

    The first three statements are examples of the transitive property.

    The fourth one is not.
