    -3b-4=11

    -3b-4+4=11+4 (Move constants to the right by adding its opposite to both sides)

    -3b=11+4 (Eliminate the opposites)

    -3b / (-3) = 15 / (-3) (Divide by - 3 on both sides)

    b = (-5)
