Jesse needs 13 gallons of paint to finish painting the exterior of his band. if he uses 10 quarts of paint for the doors, how many quarts will be left for the siding on the barn

    1 Gallon = 4 quarts

    13 gallons = 4x13 = 52

    Since he used 10 quarts

    52 q - 10 q = 42 quarts

    42 quarts would be left for the sliding on the barn.
