    First factories the polynomials.

    After that equate the factors to 0 and find the values of x

    In this case it is

    x = 4 & x = 2

    Then find f (4) & f (2)

    First factor out the 5.

    5 (x^2-6x+8)

    Then factor the smaller polynomial.

    5 (x-4) (x+2)

    Then using zero product law, find the roots/zeros/x-intercepts.

    x-4=0

    x = 4

    And

    x+2=0

    x = - 2
