What is the sum of these two equations? 2x+3y-z=5, x+3y+2z=-6

    We just add the left side to the left side, the right side to the right side and equate the result:

    2x + 3y - z + x + 3y + 2z = 5 + - 6

    3x + 6y + z = - 1

    Answer: 3x + 6y + z = - 1
