Subtract 2 from each side
1 2/3m + 2-2 = 2 1/6-2
1 2/3 m = 1/6
Change the mixed number to an improper fraction
1 2/3 = (3*1+2) / 3 = 5/3
5/3m = 1/6
Multiply each side by 3/5 to isolate m
3/5 * 5/3m = 3/5*1/6
m = 3/30
Divide the top and bottom fraction on the right hand side by 3
m = 1/10
