    one solution : (1, 1)

    Step-by-step explanation:

    hello:

    y=2x-1 ... (*)

    5x-4y=1 ... (**)

    put the value of y by (*) in (**) : 5x-4 (2x-1) = 1

    5x-8x+4 = 1

    -3x = - 3

    x = 1

    but y = 2x-1

    so : y = 2 (1) - 1 = 1

    one solution : (1, 1)
