    Slope intercept form is the y = form of an equation. It is the easiest way to graph it.

    -5x+y=2

    +5x + 5x. Add 5x to even the equation out

    y=5x+2. This is your final answer.

    y = 5x + 2

    To turn an equation for a line into slope-intercept form, we must isolate the y variable on one side.

    Add 5x to both sides.

    y = 5x + 2

    The equation is now in slope-intercept form.
