What is the solution set of 2x^2 - 3x = 5?

    The answer is {-1, 5/2} and heres why:

    The first step to solveing this equation is to set it to 0 like this Subtract 5 from both sides: 2x^2 - 3x - 5 = 5 - 5 then just Simplify: 2x^2 - 3x - 5 = 0

    Now to solve we must use a certain quadratic eqaution shown down below, because i have no other way to show my math better.

    Now replace a with 2, b with - 3, and c with - 5. You then have to solve both for the postive equation and the negative equation.
