    Is it 3x+1 or 3x-1?

    if it is + 1 then the problem looks like this : h (-2) = 3 (-2) + 1 = - 6+1=-5

    if it is - 1 then the problem looks like this : h (-2) = 3 (-2) - 1 = - 6-1 = - 7
