Summarize and show how you could use the Associative and Commutative properties to simplify the expression b * 3 + (2 + (-b)). Show all of your work.

    So b x 3 + (2 + (-b)). First use associative property. so first multiply b x 3 you get

    3b + (2 + (-b)). Then use associative property and switch 2 with 3b. So it will be 2 + (3b + (-b)). Then 2 + 2b. Thats your answer
