If f (x) = |x-5|+2, find f (3)

A: 0

B: 6

C: 10

D: 4

    F (3) = [3-5] + 2

    = [-2] + 2

    = 2 + 2

    = 4

    The answer is D, the two lines around x-5 are absolute value equations. So do what is inside and then it will always be positive, unless there is a minus sign on the outside of the absolute value lines
