    3.4+2 (9.7-4.8x) = 61.2

    3.4+19.4-9.6x=61.2

    22.8-9.6x=61.2

    -9.6x=61.2+22.8

    -9.6x=84

    9.6x=-84

    x=-84:9.6

    x=-8.75
