    3 (3x + 4) - 5 = ax + b

    Lets simplify

    9x + 12 - 5 = ax + b

    9x + 7 = ax + b

    The answer would be C because then it would have a coeiffient the same, and a "lonely" number different, which gives it NO solution.

    Answer: C. If a=9 and b=-2, then there is no solution to the equation.
