Let f (x) = 8xf (x) = 8x.

What function represents a transformation of f (x) f (x) by a vertical stretch with factor 2?

g (x) = 2⋅8xg (x) = 2·8x

g (x) = 12⋅8xg (x) = 12·8x

g (x) = 812xg (x) = 812x

g (x) = 82x

    F (x) = 8x

a verteical anything of a factor of m means multiply the whole function by m

so a vertical stretch of a factor of 2 means times 2 by the whole function

    g (x) = 2*8x

    g (x) = 16x

it would be the first option
