Jenny is building a rectangular garden around a tree in her yard. The southwest corner of the garden will be 2 feet south and 3 feet west of the tree. The northwest corner of the garden is 1 foot north and 4 feet east of the tree. What will be the perimeter of Jenny's garden?

A. 10 ft

B. 20 ft

C. 21 ft

D. 25 ft

    There are numerous important information's already given in the question. Based on those information's the answer can be easily determined. From the information's given, we get the coordinates as (-3, - 2) and (4, 1). From these co ordinates, we can say that

    Height of the rectangle is 3 feet

    Length of the rectangle is 7 feet

    Then

    Perimeter of the rectangle = 2 (length + Height)

    = 2 (7 + 3)

    = 2 * 10

    = 20 feet

    From the above deduction, we can conclude that the correct option is option "B".
