To answer the question, let x be the amount of 100% lemon juice. In order to make 4 gallons of mixture, Milo needs 4 - x gallons of prepared mixture. Using lemon juice balance.

    (x) (1) + (4 - x) (0.20) = 4 (0.5)

The value of x is equal to 1.5 gallons.

Therefore, Milo needs 1.5 gallons of lemon juice.
