Ok! So this problem may seem a little tricky, but it is actually easy!

So as you read the problem you see that he swims 45 minutes everyday for 5 days. So you multiply 45 by 5 and you get 225.

Next, the question reads that he swam 5 days a week for 12 weeks. So you would multiply 225 by 12 and you get 2,700.

Now 2,700 is how many minutes he swam for 12 weeks. Now we need to convert that into hours.

So since there is 60 minutes in an hour, you would divide 2,700 by 60 and you get 45.

Now the question once you to find his average laps per hour. He swam 1,800 laps in 45 hours. So you will simply divide 1,800 by 45 and you get ...
