A line that is parallel to the graph of y=1/2x+7 I think it is 1/2. A line that is perpendicular to the graph of y=-2x-3

I think this one is 1/2 as well. Find the x-intercept of the graph of each equation.

3x+2y=7 2x+3y=7 I got (0,7) for both of them.

    Parallel lines have identical slopes, so you are correct.

    Perpendicular lines have negative reciprocal slopes.

    y = - 2x - 3

    y = 1/2x - 3

    You are correct again.

    3x+2y=7

    2y=-3x+7

    y = - 3/2x+7

    2x+3y=7

    3y=-2x+7

    y = - 2/3x+7

    You are correct again, well done!
