Bill is painting the shutters on his house when he drops his paint brush. The height of the paint brush above the ground can be modeled by the following equation:

h (t) = - 16t^2+35

What is the minimum or maximum value for this equation and what does the value represent for this situation?

    k is max value

    so

    h (t) = - 16 (t+0) ^2+35

    thhe max value is at 35

    it is the max because - 16<0 so the parabola opens down

    that's how high the paint brush goes
