What is the least common multiple of 6 and 12?

    To find the LCM of two numbers, you firstly prime factorize them and then you take common and uncommon factors with highest exponent.

    6 = 2*3

    12 = 2^2*3

    So take 2^2 and 3

    2^2*3 = 12 < - answer
