    Area = (Base / 2) * Height

    Base = Height + 6

    Height = 12

    The algebraic expression would be:

    A = ((x + 6) / 2) * x

    Solve Base first:

    (12 + 6) / 2 = 18/2 = 9

    Then

    A = 9 * 12

    A = 108
