First distribute using distributive property which is

    a (b+c) = ab+ac so

    -2 (4a-3b) = - 8a+6b so

    14a-4b-8a+6b

    add like terms

    (14a-8a) + (-4b+6b)

    (6a) + (2b)

    6a+2b
