How do you solve surface area?

The formula for surface area depends on the shape you are solving for.
Here are a couple:
Surface area of a sphere: 4πr²
Surface area of a cube: 6a² (when a = length of a side)
Surface area of a rectangular prism = 2 (wl + hl + hw)
Surface area of a cone = πr (r + √ (h² + r²))
The rest are all online, but are different for each figure.
