If three tenths of visitors were adults and there were 100 visitors, how many were adults?

    3/10 of 100 = (3/10) * 100=30 adults

    There would be 30 visitors that are adults because since you multiplied 10 by 10 as the denominator, all you have to do is multiply 3 by 10 making it 30/100 and 30 adults were visitors.
