The length of a rectangular garden is 10 feet longer than its width. if the garden's perimeter is 184 feet, what is the area of the garden in square feet

    Width = w

    length = w + 10

    perimeter 2w+2l=184

    2w + 2 (w+10) = 184

    2w + 2w + 20 = 184

    4w = 164

    w = 164/4 = 41

    w = 41

    l = 51

    Area = wl

    Area = 41*51 = 2091 Sq ft
