Two payments to rent a car: you can pay $30 a day plus $0.10 a mile (option A) or pay $10 a day plus $0.50 a mile (option B). For what amount of daily miles will option A be the cheaper plan?

    Option A will be cheaper after 51 miles.

    Option A: 30+0.10 (51) = 35.10

    Option B: 10+0.50 (51) = 35.50
