    Ratio: Degree Change/Time

    -82 1/2°C/2 1/5 minutes = X°C/1 minute

    Cross Multiply: a/b=x/d ... ad=bx ... x=ad/b

    Whereas X is over 1, you already have

    X = (-82 1/2) / (2 1/5) so divide

    X = 82.5/2.2 = 37.5

    Answer = - 37 1/2°C
