GCF stands for Greatest Common Factor
12 can be divided by 1, 2, 6, 3, 4,
40 can be divided by 1, 2, 4, 10, 20, 5, 8
45 can be divided by 1, 3, 15, 9, 5
So out of all those factors the greatest factor is 2
