A rectangle's length is 5 units more than the width. the perimeter is 9 times the width. what are the length and the width of the rectangle described?

    L=5+w

    2 (l+w) = 9w

    2l+2w=9w

    2l=7w

    2 (5+w) = 7w

    10+2w=7w

    10=5w

    W=2, l=5+w=5+2=7
