    (2x-3y = 4) x 3

    Subtract them:

    (6x+12y = 12)

    - (6x - 9y = 12)

    21y = 0

    y = 0

    Using this, we can say that:

    3X+6 (0) = 6 or 3x = 6

    2X-3 (0) = 4 or 2x = 4

    So therefore, x must equal 2.
