A girl buys a shirt that was originally $45 but is now $15. What is the rate of change?

    So first we find the change

    45 to 15=45-15=30

    change is 30

    rate of change = (change) / (original)

    original=45

    change=30

    30/45=10/15=2/3=0.66666666=66%

    rate of change is 66.66%
