Both cars got miles per gallon.

    Sue's car got (300 miles) / (12 gallons) = 25 miles/gallon.

    Jen's car got (140 miles) / (5 gallons) = 28 miles/gallon.

Jens car did, because she got 28 miles to the gallon while Sue only got 25 miles to the gallon
