on the left side, and try to make it simpler.
Do you see that ' 5m ' and that ' + m '? We can combine them, and write ' 6m '.
Do you see that ' + 6 ' and that ' - 18 '? We can combine those, and write ' - 12 '.
Now the equation is much simpler:
6m - 12 = 60
Add 12 to each side:
6m = 72
Divide each side by 6:
m = 12
