You'll have to change 15% to 0.15. then multiply is by 45$ and you'll get

6.75$ then subtract 6.75$ from 45 and you'll get 38.25, she needs to save.

    15% of $45=6.75

    45.00-6.75=38.25

    she still needs $38.25
