If you times 6/8 by 10 you would have 60/80 times 8/10 by 8 and you would get 64/80 so 8/10 is greater.

6/8 is greater than 8/10 because we could represent fractions in decimals. The / simply means to divide. Assume that 6/8 is six divided by 8 which is 0.75. You know that 8/10 or 0.8 is greater than 6/8. Therefore, 6/8>8/10.
