In a geometry class, there are 28 students. Of the 28 students, 15 students are male and 13 students are female. On a recent exam, 9 female students passed the exam and 13 male students passed the exam. If a student from the class is chosen at random, what is the probability that the student will be a male or passed the exam?

    2) complete the table calculating the missing information:

    3) Probaility that a student will be a male: 15 / 28

    4) probability that the student passed = 22 / 28

    5) probability that a student will be a male or passed = probability that a student will be a male + probaility that the studen passed - probability that the student will be a male and passed

    probability that the student will be a male and passed = 13 / 28

    probability that a student will be a male or passed = 15 / 28 + 22 / 28 - 13 / 28 =
