    The answer is y = x2 - 4

    if you try to factor out all of the equations given to you (ex. 0=x2+4x+2), the only equation that can be factored out is y = x2 - 4.

    y = x2 - 4

    0 = x2 - 4

    0 = (x-2) (x+2)

    0=x-2 0=x+2

    2=x x=-2
