    You multiply 6 x a dozen (12) since 12 is 1/6 of the cookies 12x6=72 so 72 cookies

    Since 1/6 are lefet and 12 are left

    1/6 of total=12

    to find how many total you multiply both sides by 6 to destroy fraciton

    total=12 times 6=72

    you baked 72 cookies
