The larger of two numbers is 2 more than 4 times the other. Their sum is 33. Find the two numbers. How do I answer this?

    So, basically. The value of one of the numbers we will call x, and the value of the other number based off of x is 4x+2. So, add these two "numbers" up, and you get 5x+2. Youre equation is: 5x+2=33, 5x=31, x=6.2. So, one number is 6.2, and the other is 26.8
