Sorry, the question was suppose to be:

" Is there any value of x with the property that x
Solve it just like you'd solve any other inequality:

x < x - 1

Subtract 'x' from each side: 0 < - 1

Is there any number for 'x' that can make 0 < - 1?

I don't think so.

So there is no solution ... no value for 'x' that makes

the original inequality true.
