    In y = mx + b form, the m stands for the slope and the b stands for the y int.

    y = 6x + 9 ... slope = 6, and y int = 9

    y = 6x + 2 ... slope = 6, and y int = 2

    when ur equations have the same slope but different y intercepts, they are parallel lines with no solution.

    * if they would have had the same slope and the same y int, they would have had infinite solutions.

    * if they would have had different slopes and different y intercepts, they would have had 1 solution
