By selling old CDs, Sarah has a store credit for $153. A new CD costs $18. What are the possible numbers of new CDs Sarah can buy?

    To calculate this we simply need to devide 153 by 18.

    153/18=8.5

    which means that Sarah can buy 8 new CDs and will have

    153 - 8*18=9 dollars spare.

    Sarah has extra cash because with that spare money she can't buy whole new CD.
