Two basketball teams have a mean height of 6 feet and a median height of 6 feet, but the interquartile range of the first team is much greater than the interquartile range of the second team. How can this be? Explain.

    There are more basketball players on the second team that still gives a a mean height of 6 feet but have a larger range, also the first team has mostly basketball players in a range from about 5 10 to to 6 2 the range for the second team is most likely somewhere from 5 5 to 6 5.
